Regarding controversy on NAFTA:

PEJ News - Our Canadian Government has been recently suggesting that Canada is opposed to tampering with NAFTA. This has sent a chill through the US.

The truth is much different and Canadians really think that NAFTA stinks. The fossil fools  are getting rich at the expense of our standard of living and freedoms.

Green strategies at a Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels.

PEJ News - In general, the easiest way to achieve a green economy is to regulate the production or importing of fossil fuels.  It is simple to measure and define limits.   Subsidies should be removed from fossil fuels production and transferred to green fuel production.   This will drive Canada to a booming green economy and bring our GHG emissions far below existing targets.

Gary Lunn - The Gift That Keeps On Giving for Generations - This Christmas Season Bells Should Be Ringing; Alarm Bells That Is

PEJ NEws - Shun Lunn - This Christmas Gary Lunn and Stephen Harper finally bit the bullet and decided to give Canadians the gift that keeps on giving. During the media frenzy over that modern day Grinch Karlheinz Schreiber, our fearless leaders quietly announced our capitulation to yet another American partnership.

Apparently our Minister of Natural Resources Gary Lunn found the Nuclear Industry under this year's mistletoe and gave 'em a nice big wet one right on the lips. Now we are newly minted members of the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP). Add this to our Secret Santa style involvement in the Security and Prosperity Partnership and the inter-provincial partnership TILMA, and we begin to clearly see the death of Canada by a thousand "partnerships."

Oil and Nuclear Power: Gary Lunn's Costly New Fossil Fuel Plan

PEJ News - Sue Stroud -
I noticed this reappearance of the nuclear industry during the last federal election when every candidate was given a little glossy booklet heralding nuclear power as the best and quickest option for solving the energy crisis. Gary Lunn, MP in Saanich-Gulf Islands is the Minister for Natural Resources. He is a great supporter of the 'new' nuclear power. I have no doubt that this industry will be pushing its tax-sucking agenda as hard as it can, in the next election and citizens need to be ready to push back.
