About the author:

F. William Engdahl 's best-selling book on oil and geopolitics, A Century of War: Anglo-American Politics and the New World Order (Pluto Press Ltd 2004) has been translated into Croatian (Stoljece Rata, AGM Press), German (Mit der ?lwaffe zur Weltmacht, Kopp Verlag, 2006), Korean and Arabic. Mr Engdahl is one of the more widely discussed analysts of current political and economic developments, and his provocative articles and analyses have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines and well-known international websites. In addition to discussing oil geopolitics and energy issues, he has written on issues of agriculture, GATT, WTO, IMF, energy, politics and economics for more than 30 years, beginning the first oil shock and world grain crisis in the early 1970's. He recently completed a book, Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Political Agenda Behind GMO, about agribusiness and the control of the world food supply.
